One of my favourite places to visit in the Swan Valley. These unique works are so full of light and movement. They are representations of music for the soul. Photographs do not do them justice. One of the things I value about Thomas Maurer’s work is that reproductions like prints don’t work. They are true originals. What is art? Something creative and original, another way of viewing the world. These works are certainly that.

I never have seen so beautiful 3 Dimensional pictures made by an cut off grinder on aluminium plates. I never thought that’s possible to do this. Very grate. Thomas is an very friendly guy.

We were on a visit to the Swan Valley on our holiday from Brisbane and stopped in to see what we thought would be a pretty ordinary gallery. How wrong we were. We were blown away by Thomas Maurer's extraordinary and unique 3D metal artworks. Thomas gave generously of his time to explain his art with great passion. If you are in the area we would highly recommend popping in to experience something memorable that will not fail to impress. You may even feel inclined to take a piece home.

We arrived to be greeted by the Artist Thomas, who was enthusiastic and passionate when talking about his creations. We walked through the rooms and Thomas guided with his words on how to view the art and how he makes it..was a fantastic start to our Swan Valley journey

Do yourself a favour and step into Thomas's world and come out fascinated. Who knew you can do that with sheet metal, extremely talented and creative individual, a must for all visitors to the Swan Valley pop in and say 'Hi' to Thomas who explains his work which is so refreshing to find someone with such passion and willing to share it to the public, you get to experience Thomas's art work and his vision, it truly is Amazing.
